This tea bag holder was very easy to make. This would be a fantastic gift idea for any occasion but especially for the upcoming holidays. I used the CTMH Heartstrings paper pack and embellishments.

Happy July!!
Since I last posted there have been great changes in our lives and each a blessing! I am home now and back to doing what I love - crafting. For all of you who have sent me PM's or called to check on my status I hope that I was able to keep up with all of your messages. If I did miss answering anyone I apologize.
New happenings at Lee Gwynne Designs.
We have been blessed with our 9th grandchild Caroline Faith. She is a beautiful baby (but I am a bit biased). I am so grateful to have been able to take the time to spend with my daughter and her husband as they prepared for and delivered their first child. I was so thankful to be able to spend that time with them. I would have never been able to share the amount of time that I did with them if I had an outside of my home job.
Lee Gwynne Designs has been blessed with several lovely new customers that will definitely keep us hopping along with our regular craft events. We have also begun holding classes in Surfside Beach, SC at Icicles also located in Surfside Beach. Icicles is and arts and crafts boutique with many different types of artistry designs and classes available. So exciting!!! If you are ever in the area please check out Icicles. It is an amazing boutique.

Typewriter Artist
It has been cold here in Minnesota since I arrived...but waiting on the arrival of a grandchild makes you aware of the beauty around you and the cold has meant little. We are very blessed with this 9th grandchild and await the arrival of this 3rd precious granddaughter. Above my own children I do not know of a greater joy.
Tonight - I reflect on those times that we all have....whether Close To My Heart or Stampin' Up...ScrapBook crafters or cardmakers...we always come to what we know as a "crafters block".
I know what those feel like and how frustrating those fan be. How can you have a thought in your head one minute and then suddenly your mind goes completely blank??? For hours upon end......
For those who think those situations will never pass....for those who think they may never have another clear thought.... I pray tonight that you look inward...it is as simple as that....be thoughtful..be peaceful...be kind...love one another...thank our God....

I know it feels as if this winter is never going to end but my daffodils are beginning to bloom and even though the winter winds are still howling through the trees I can hear the ocean at night teasing me with the whispers of spring. It is just around the corner!
We are busy creating designs for Easter and St. Patrick's Day. There are spring banners to make and I will have a few of those to post for next week. The are beautiful and I can't wait to show them off.
Today's post is of a nightlight that I recently made for our upcoming granddaughter. This nightlight was made using pink vinyl with the design being taken from the Cricut Cartridge "Nursery Rhymes". I don't have a photo of the lamp while it is on - I wish that I did because it is precious. My daughter loves it and it was a great hit at the baby shower.

It has been a fantastic week at the beach...Although I was in Minnesota for part of it. My daughter is having her first baby and we are very excited. We are preparing for her birth in a few weeks and I will be returning to Minnesota for the happy day.
We are also preparing for our first craft bazaar of the year to be held in Carolina Forest on March 21st. This house is hoppin'!

Welcome 2015! It has been several months since we have updated our blog. We have been traveling, re-organizing and growing for the new year. Soon you will be able to find us in the General Store at the Hammock Shops. We are so very excited about our new union with the General Store and the Candy Factory!
We are also preparing for the CFE Spring Bazaar on March 21st, in Carolina Forest. We are working daily to increase our inventory for both events and feel very blessed for the opportunities that have come our way.
I have recieved the new Cricut Explore that will replace one of our older machines - as soon as I am more familiar with all of the whistles and bells that this beautiful machine sports. It will be a great addition to our family of machines and will go head to head with our Silhouette soon!
Today's card is a great design for a birthday card for a toddler or baby. I used the Cricut Cartridges - Create A Critter, Ribbons and Rosettes and Everday Paperdolls.

Happy Monday! What a great weekend it was and such a busy week that lies ahead. I am blessed with a new grandchild here (which made 8) and one on the way across the country - so in the next few months I will be leaving the peace and warmth of the beach to enjoy.....well....sorta.....the cold Minnesota snow. But for the blessing and joy of the wonderful grandchild - the first child for my middle daughter and son-in-law - I will tough it out :-) (actually you couldn't keep me away).
This weeks card is simply made with the new Halloween themed paper by Close To My Heart SCAREDY CAT. This paper pack has a beautiful assortment of brilliant colors that make the possibilities truly endless!

I love the colors of fall. Although I hate to see the summer end the brilliance of the leaves and the colors of the trees bring fond memories of family and holidays past.
This card was inspired by the beginning of the leaves changing and the beautiful colors in the Close To My Heart HUNTINGTON paper pack.
